Questions for the Manager
1. What does Arturo do that makes him stand out?
Arturo is the consummate team player. He always includes the input of his teammates, treats everyone with respect and works well with other crew leaders.
2. How does Arturo impact his crew, team, and the branch as a whole?
Arturo leads from the front, doing the right thing for his crew, our branch and especially our clients.
3. Three words to best describe Arturo?
Steady, consistent, dependable.
4. What was a challenge he faced while working, and how did he overcome it?
It was a job inside of Epcot and per plan we had 2 large Bismarck Palms that we had to remove, transport to our temp nursery until the new hardscape and irrigation could be installed. The night before we came to the job the client installed 8' high barricades around the site with no access for our lull to enter the site, so the only option was to boom over the barricades and lift each Palm over the barricade and onto our trailer. Arturo was a true professional, making sure everyone was safe, double checking the rigging, directing his crew and ensuring everything went smooth.
5. Tell a quick story of one of his best moments.
We were installing trees with a crane within Epcot and as the crew was rigging the next tree to be flown, upon inspection Arturo noticed a small tear in the sling and had the crew take it out of service. Those are the details that really matter. This could have potentially saved a large mishap, even someone's life!

1. What has been your favorite Property or Project been that you been involved with?
Epcot World Showcase. It was a very tight jobsite with multiple trades working at the same time, yet we all worked together and finished the job on time.
2. What do you like most about working at CEPRA Landscape?
CEPRA is the best company in the industry, and I love the way CEPRA treats the employees on a daily basis.
3. What is something most people do not know about you?
I'm capable of much more than I'm given credit for, and I love being underestimated. It brings out the best in me.
